I'm exhausted. It's been a hard week. Lot of work, and lot of insomnia.

Today was windy and cold, but overall good. Had a fitting for the opera and i... FINISHED THE KIDS CONTRACT!
I only have 3 pairs of shoes to be tried on and it will be done. DONE.
only 2 contracts left now.

Debating couple of thing for tonite. Normally, i would have to go to the gym, then Jane's christmas party, then head to the Boudoir for Break's night, then home to manage to sleep for a bit before work tomorrow, but as i previously said, i'm exhausted. Totally. Yesterday's workout was really hardcore and i feel kinda beaten up. I think i will go to the gym, then just come back home and skip the parties to get some rest.

Elyane is coming by tomorrow to work with me on 5Women's hats. It's really optimistic, but i would like to have all of them done before Sunday, so i could have them for the fitting on thursday. So purple madness tomorrow. yay.

Oh btw, the meditteranean on the corner (duPont and Charest) really rocks. They makes the best baklavas and the best malouh bread ever. And it's 100% natural. I can't believe i never went there before. It always looks kinda close or empty, but it's not. Tons of yummy things inside

oh and my turkist stew really rocks. :) 

Dammit, i really want to be blond right now, but it's gonna be a pain in the ass to always redo my color.

Tomorrow was an awesome day. Got big amount of work done, realized alot of thing and got 2 new rules.
1-It's ok to fear things, just don't let your fear cripples you.
1-It's ok to complain, just don't act like if you are helpless about your problems.
Some events last night made me think alot about my life and how i act or react. I'm following a great path of making myself a better person and i'm really proud of it.  I love life. Optimism and actions are the key.

I hope the big wound on my knee will be almost gone for Florida. I'll also start tanning next week, then waxing, pedicure and manicure just before i fly for DC on the 19th. Too bad i couldnt buy my plane ticket tonite (money, oh sweet money), but i'll do that tomorrow after midnight. Lets just hope it's still gonna be cheap. yay! i can't wait to jump in George's arm at the airport, i always feel so much like in a movie when i do that. :) I got this awesome swimsuit, cant wait to rock it on the beach. Found sandals too, will buy them friday


Tomorrow is Breakfast Club at 7. Then i will go uptown to give back the movie (the Special Features dvd that i forgot home when i took back all the other ones), then go pick up a tuxedo for 5Girls. Depending on how much money i have left in my account, i might go to Ste-Foy to pick up a new costume rack. If not, i'll just come back home, take care of the ginormous amount of stuff (read here : costumes and props) that is in the corner of the appartement, while doing laundry. Restroom need to be done and floor need to be cleaned. Oh, and Baltazar at 5, and then Heroes! I'm (luckily) off the gym tomorrow.

Food talk! I'll cook a Turkish stew, got some veggies and spices and (sorry for the vegans on my list... I'm a sinner now, as most of you know) fresh beef cubes.

Hardcore week-end. Friday was Zoub's birthday party.



Worked all day on Kids, half of the job is done. Hopefully this week will be productive.
I'm teaching tomorrow and will probably go shopping afterwords. I'm hoping to find all the jewelry and the shirt (luckily the shoes too..,) of the main opera's character. I'll go, again, in the smelly suburbs. gneh. And there's already tons of snow...


I'm currently watching Caligula... seriously, it's basically a porn movie with historicals costumes. I'm really glad i decided to watch it before showing it to my students, hehe.

So more movies, then i'll do the numbers for most of my contracts, then a bit of heroes... then i hope, a bit of lovely Purevil.

So i'm finally back! Computer showed up today after one week of hide and seek.
So tonite will be a relax night at home... I even skipped the gym tonite. I feel bad about it as it's the 3rd time this week (1 for sickness, 1 for hangover), but oh well. It will still be 4 days out of 7, not that bad.

This week made me realize how of a computer addict i am. But i also accomplished a lot.
Yesterday we had our first real snow. Winter is really here now. With winter also comes... lack of light. I can't believe i took the next pictures in the middle of the day.

Also i noticed Beenox's new building is actually starting to really look like a building. I was in Europe when they started constructions.

Today was a kind of random day tho. It transformed my appartement in a total mess, there's lot of plastic, bubblewrap and cardboard all over the place.
I went to do shopping for the Kids show, stepped in the slush (see the following picture) and tried to run as quick as possible in between all downtown thrift store before 5Womens reading at 1pm. Then more shopping, and a costume fitting for Kids in the suburbs.
Ah lovely slushy, i'm glad i'm wearing platforms no matter what season.

And i'm really really tired, for no other apparent reasons that bad sleep and 12 hours of job. I'm really tired and i dont think i'll get anything done tonite other than emails, class prep for tomorrow morning, and a list of what's missing for my contract that i need to get at the store tomorrow afternoon. Basically, i need to prepare my bag for tomorrow and figure something out for a lunch. Which means i should probably kick my ass and cook. Looooooooooots of soup left (made a lentils and tomato soup yesterday, but for some reason it turned out to made a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge batch. Seriously, i even had to freeze half of it cause there's no way that i can eat all of that before it turn bad.  Thinking of cooking kind of tacos filling thing. I'll see how i feel after writing this post and showering.  I'll also probably start ripping music, i dont have any on this computer and my i'm gonna be fucked with my iPod soon...

Tomorrow will be super busy. I'll be teaching, then bus to the suburb's shopping center and thrift store with Elyane, my assistant.
Then putting order in my production's budget and my production book ( i should actually do that tonite, but i'm so tiiiiiired. maybe i'm just lazy.
maybe i'm insane. maybe i dont really exist). I should also probably start dying clothes for Kids.

Seriously, i need to put the plastic in the windows and turn on the small room heater George gave me last year. It's freezing here.
But good thing about the cold is... i can pimp my Fred's hand heater again! yay!

off to shower. Then work. Then Dexter if i'm a good girl, then probably time with my lovely Purevil when he get back from the club.

It's 4:39 am, and i'm still REALLY awake. i wanted to get up early... i wish it will happens.

Today was hectic but kinda good. Baltazar (got to do a few displays, it was nice. should have taken pictures), then gave a finger to an asshole driver, then back home, made awesome tofu sandwich, Got the final meeting with 5Womens director, he's crazy about my work, so i cracked a bottle of Pinot Noir to celebrate... followed by a gigantic pot of coffee to not fall asleep, then work again on my drawings. Got everything done, tomorrow is the 2nd meeting with my director, hope it's gonna go well.

Awesome virtual late night with George, then new True blood and new Dexter.
Sookie is slowly getting on my nerves... or be a true sub or get the fuck away stupid Stackhouse. Choose one way or the other and stop acting like a bitch.
Not sure where Dexter is going tho. Nothing really exiting about this season, unless reminding me how changes can affect life, and that we just have to roll with it and make the best out of it. Changing our perception of things to go further.

Day off at the gym. No random fact about faucet nor hard candy. No myth busted But a good and well deserved rest for my body.

another rainy day in qc city.


Day was kinda productive on the life level, but not really on the work. I got my room ready for winter, put the plastic in the window and some kind of smoochy thing on the bottom of the walls. Then laundry, cleaned the floor and other random home things.

Went to the Brûlerie to read the opera libretto, then off to library, groceries (avocado! yay!) and gym (where i watched How it's made? and got to know how they make faucet. amazing what you can learn while losing weight).

Tonite is gonna be another long one. I'll do the last bit of costume research i need to do and draw the 17 opera's character. Wish i could also paint them, but i doubt it's doable. We'll see at what time i actually finish the drawings.  But... tonite is also True Blood and Dexter night!
Episodes are usually online around 2am, so i might be able to download one and watch it at 3 am. Not my fault, i'm addicted.

I'm also seriously missing Mr. Evil. One month and 2 days. ouf. Let's keep on working!

so as the title says... it wasnt super awesome in qc city today. At least it wasnt really cold.

Today was productive, and i hope as hell tonite gonna be too.
I got up early, spoke a bit with George, took forever to get dressed, worked at Baltazar, and then, afterwords, made the horrible trip to the
unfriendly and smelly suburb of Lebourgneuf. Unlike his name (his name means, in old french, the new 'town'), this neighborhood is old and ugly. and people freaks me out in buses. This time, an obviously retarded women stared at me the whole ride, with a really angry look on her face. I was slowly being convinced that she would stop and get out of the bus with me to try to beat me up in the parking lot.
Anyway, managed to exchange some (ugly) shoes at Le Château ( for 5Womens), got a scarf and a kind of hat-notreallysurewhatitis that i will try to transform for 5Womens, then went back home. No freaky people on the way back home.
Went to the gym, watched Mythbusters (so weird, tv schedule on their website dont fit the actual schedule), came back and ate leftovers.
I was eating alone and having leftovers, but god it was good. Gnocchi with tomato based sauce, cesar salad and good bread. yummy.

I will probably work all night on 5Womens, luckily i will get everything done. I'm skipping Solaris and the Crew's party, but oh well, i cant do everything.

took me forever to go to sleep last night... well this morning actually, i guess i fell asleep around 6 am... and slept through my alarm until 2pm, then ran like a headless chicken to the school library to get my research done before they close (i still dont really understand why they are closing at 4:30).

Then Vectorworks at school was fucked, something about the serial number was wrong, so anyway, it didnt let me log in. As a big girl, i manage  to get my plan printed to the right dimensions, but i'm gonna have to do the drafting by hands instead than using Vectorworks.
Ah, the sadness of being a technology slave.

I also didnt get to do the Kids drawings, which needs to get done asap. I guess i could do them right now, but for some obscure reason i'm drained. Yes i went to the gym (3126 strides, 217 calories, yay!) earlier, but i shouldnt be that tired after all the sleep i got this morning. Maybe i can do the drawings tonite and do the watercolor tomorrow.  oh sweet procrastination, i'll beat you just after this post (hahaha.)  i guess i can just set the download for Dexter, draw until it's loaded, watch it then go to sleep. That's sound great actually.

On the bright side, i'll go buy the dresses for 5 Womens tomorrow after  Baltazar. M-H is driving me there, should be short and easy. And they are 70$ instead of 139$ (oh, thank you procrastination).

i paid 7$ for each color, but its really worth it.

Worked a lot this afternoon (lot of drawings for my next play, 'la noce chez les petits bourgeois, by brecht), again i spent the week-end procrastinating...
at least, i worked on my appartement, saw my mom, went out a bit, spent some time with raph, and watched south park.
and i took care of something that was bothering me, i feel way better now.

well, i understand that when we make decision, we're likely up to gain something AND to lose something.
i just have to live with the decision i made.
a bit lonely now, but ok

 

 that was the last coat of primer in my appartement. I hope i'll begin to paint it tomorrow.

my project was accepted. i'll be rich... in 2008, but it fucking rock.

i ate pie and drink coffee with the OSS.

well, cuddles and money are a bit lacking now, but it's still alright.

working from 9am to 11pm each day.
running between jobs.
eating like shit.
struggling with insomnia.

but friday this will be over.
cant wait.
